On 7 September 2019, 21 colleagues formed a volunteer team to visit 30 elders of BMCPC Life Education and Elderly Support Centre of Po Leung Kuk in Kwun Tong to give them blessings and care. We played game and formed small groups to make photo frames with the elders. We and all the elders indulged in clapping our hands and singing. The whole centre was full of singing and laughter. In the laughter, we distributed a Mid-Autumn Festival gift package to each elder, hoping to bring them the festive joy.
Chinney Group's 45th Anniversary Gala Dinner was celebrated at Rosewood Hong Kong on 9 January 2020. The yearly party was an enjoyable evening filled with lots of gift prizes and scrumptious delicacies to thank all our colleagues, partners and friends for their dedication and fidelity to the company. The final lucky draw have definitely brought the joyful atmosphere to the highest. We look forward to building continued success moving forward in bringing greater value and service to our clients and partners.
On 18 April 2020,our staff volunteers went to the Oasis Nursing Home located in Tsz Wan Shan to present 60 pre-packaged anti-epidemic kits to the elders. The anti-epidemic kits consisted of JcoNAT naturally-existing disinfectant, medical masks, sanitized wipes and biscuits. The Oasis Nursing Home was put into service in 2008. It covers an area of about 60,000 square feet and provides 217 places for the elders.
On 16 May 2020, our staff volunteers went to the Hong Kong office of Hong Chi Association in Wanchai to participate the second program of donating anti-epidemic kits. Hong Chi Association (formerly The Hong Kong Association for the Mentally Handicapped) was started in 1965. It is a non-profit making organization in Hong Kong dedicated to serving over 7,000 people of all ages and all grades of intellectual disabilities.
On 02 June 2020, we made a charitable donation of HK$ 40,000 (raised from the top management and colleagues) to Manna Cafe, a social enterprise. Mr. Fong, the owner of Manna Cafe in Kwun Tong advised that part of the donation received will be used to buy new appliances for the restaurant, while other part could be used to subsidize free meals and free home-delivered meal boxes for the elderly and street sleepers. Manna Cafe has three missions - to use all profits on caring services within the district; to provide employment opportunities and vocational training to people who have no experience in the catering industry; and to perform caring works within the district.
